I have a few questions because I cannot see the picture...

-What is broken about it?

-What steps did you follow to find out it is broken?

-Does this picture show how it is broken?

-Is this a balance issue, glitch issue, or is something strange happening?

-Does this happen all the time?

Experimented with spear knight and found that there seems to be a targeting flaw. When the spear knight is under attack, most ranged attacks miss even if spear knight is standing still. Only long range attacks with area damage seem to work and most of the time the damage done is too little to be effective. Only good way to kill spear knight seems to be close combat where units seem to have no trouble hitting it in melee. I know this is an old post but I thought I'd put this out there just to help out those who don't know.

this is most likly because of a bad placment of the center of the unit. the ranged ataks shoot at this point and if there is nothing to hit there it will count as a mis (like the open gate). the best solution would probably be to put an invisebele bow arount the middle point.

Also I noticed that spear knights main attack affects a wide area like that of a mortar. I figure the spear knight was meant to be a counter for veruna's amazon knight but the wide area range and possible off center placement has the spear knight a broken unit in combat. Thanks to Wqaopl for the help and suggestion.

hmm i didnt notice the aoe the spear knight has Wqaople but also melee does seem most efective when fighting them and he for got to count waves and AoEs like the Fire mages and Faleen angel they also seem efective at dealing dmg and killing them

All the above issues have been fixed except for receiving damage from ballistic units.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I'm not really sure what Wqaopls means by: "invisebele bow arount the middle point."

Vaerun, where are you? I think you fixed the same issue with the unicorn.

Sage mabe the collison box is small i took some classes on modeling and game making and this is mabye im wrong but that may be the problem or the spear knight needs to be remodeled

I'm releasing 3.6 this Sunday, but I do need this bug fixed. I tried looking at the script and the objects3d file and I can't seem to figure this out.

I finally fixed it!!!

There was something wrong with the object AraGP in the model file. I exported the one from amazon knight and imported it into the spear knight.
