I think script maps will override whatever settings you may have. It's either one or the other.

It is possible making scripted maps for mods. If you want to use the new units from a mod in a scripted map just put the mods hpi file in the same directory as cartographer. One example of a scripted map and a mod working together is the snake map I made a while ago.

There is if your using DL races the you just have to add a Builder from that race to the script and it will work i dont know about mods that change the game like the lord of the rings
